Android

In February, 2009, I started doing Android development full time.  Very happy about that, and the company I work for.

That means, of course, that I get the chance to dig under the hood of Andriod, rant on the forums a bit, and generally share the wealth of knowledge about the platform that I come across.

This page is for you, fellow Androiders.

And, as always, I try to publish the not-so-easy-to-find stuff.  The hard problems die here.

Contents:

  1. Installing the new 2.0 SDK and the new MOTOdev Studio
  2. The Samsung Moment
  3. NVidia Tegra Development Kit

  1. I am Bala, living in Palo Alto, California. Last year I published a book, Web On-The-Go. This book presents innovative ideas with fictionalized examples based on the mobile web concept. This book not only provides ideas for future applications on the mobile platform, but also inspires people to think beyond regular applications, like email, chat and social networking. People, who have read this book, always come up with surprisingly new ideas for industries like, banking, transportation, shipping, health care, public safety, security, etc.

In this book, I mentioned: Innovation is in Depression; not the Economy.

    Bala.
